He was awarded the SBA (Small Business Administration) Financial Service Advocate Award for 2003 for the state of
Nevada and the Western region. For over sixteen (16) years he has been an active member and officer of SCORE
(Service Corps of Retired Executives Association), Northern Nevada Chapter in Reno.
