At our next meeting: Don Costar will speak on Patents and Patent Searching.

The Board of Directors is discussing the possibility / feasibility of having an Information Booth at the Nevada State Fair. Booths at the State Fair are normally $500. Toni Patti just confirmed a 20' x 20' booth at no cost--if we want it. The Nevada State Fair will be from Wednesday, August 23rd, through Sunday, August 27th. The proposed theme of the Information Booth would be "Nevada Inventors' Association--A Community Resource". Tony Patti has offered us the use of the booth hardware. Kehl LeSourd has offered to help. Carol Anderson has offered her art services for a brochure. Bill Young and Don Evans have offered exhibits. So, far, that's all we have. If the membership is interested in pursuing this endeavor, then we will need to have a lot more support.

Thank You to NIA member Gene Creech of Eagle Scoreboards for his generous donation of recyclable aluminum, increasing Nevada Inventors' bank account by almost $200.
